Rebecca C. Shore, MD, FACS

Bios

Rebecca C. Shore, MD, FACS was born and raised in Massachusetts, where she also completed all of her medical training. She has a strong interest in women's health, including both breast health and metabolic disease.

Dr. Shore received her medical degree from The University of Massachusetts in 1999 and completed her surgical residency at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 2004. As a resident, she received accolades from the medical school as an outstanding house officer 2 years in a row. 

Following her residency, Dr. Shore completed a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Dr. Shore has a well-established relationship with Lowell General Hospital, having served as a member of the LGH Performance Improvement committee for many years and as medical director of the LGH Breast Center in the past. She is also the current medical director of the Center for Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery at Heywood Hospital.
